Meet the Secretariat!

SECRETARY-GENERAL

Jackie is a junior at Harvard College studying Comparative Literature and Economics, originally from New Jersey.

She is incredibly excited to serve as your Secretary-General this year, having previously served as Director-General for HMUN Australia 2024 and Director of Business for HMUN Boston. Outside of HMUN, Jackie is the Director of Professional Development for Harvard Consulting on Business and the Environment and reports on arts for The Harvard Crimson.

Jackie loves reading (and writing!) about spy novels, exploring local cafés, and practicing yoga in her spare time. She can’t wait to meet you at conference!

DIRECTOR-GENERAL

Bautista is a sophomore at Harvard College pursuing a double concentration in Computer Science and Government. He is from Montevideo, Uruguay (bonus points if you can locate it on a map).

Bautista has participated in Model UN since middle school, having acted as delegate, director, and Secretary-General in conferences both in Uruguay and abroad. 

Outside of MUN, Bautista is involved in the Harvard International Review, Tech for Social Good, and Harvard Votes Challenge. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, reading, and traveling, having been to over 15 countries–and excited to add new ones to the list!

UNDER-SECRETARY-GENERAL OF COMMITTEES

Mariana is a junior at Harvard College studying economics and neuroscience. She was born and raised in Cali, Colombia.

Regarding MUN, she began in high school and continued in college. She has staffed both HMUN and HNMUN Boston, and served as both a Director and the Under-Secretary General for Administration at HNMUN-LA.

Beyond MUN and academics, Mariana spends her time dancing and playing tennis. She is extremely excited to meet the delegates during HMUN Australia 2025!

UNDER-SECRETARY-GENERAL OF ADMINISTRATION

Natalie is a sophomore at Harvard studying Government and Psychology. She is originally from in a small town in rural Wisconsin.

Natalie has been involved in HMUN in many capacities, holding various positions and staffing conferences in Boston, China, and now Australia! Outside of MUN, Natalie is involved in the Harvard Political Review, the Crimson, and Harvard Model Congress. She can also be found spending time outdoors, discovering new music, or embarking on random adventures.

She is beyond excited for the upcoming conference and meeting all of the delegates!

UNDER-SECRETARY-GENERAL OF HOST AFFAIRS

Nicolette is a junior at Harvard College studying Government and Psychology. She grew up in New York. Nicolette has been involved in Model UN since her first year of college, and has been part of HMUN and HNMUN since then.

Outside of Model UN, Nicolette writes for the Harvard International Review and is part of the Harvard Undergraduate Urban Sustainability Lab. She also enjoys finding new music and traveling in her free time.

Nicolette is so excited to serve as your Under-Secretary-General of Host Affairs for HMUN Australia 2025, and she is looking forward to meeting all of the delegates!
